About the Kitchener-Waterloo Girls Basketball Association (KWGBA)
KW Girls Basketball Association is a not for profit organization that was founded in 2015 to offer basketball opportunities for girls in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. During the 2015-2016 season the KWGBA fielded 3 teams for rep competition and the organization has been building ever since. For the 2019-20 season, KWGBA will be fielding 5 rep teams and 2 development teams.
In addition, the KWGBA is pleased to have an association with the KW Wildhawk organization. The Wildhawk organization has been providing top quality basketball programs for girls and boys since 1994.
KWGBA was founded by a group of like-minded volunteers, coaches, and parents to fill a void in competitive girls basketball in KW and are proud members of the OBA.
KWGBA strives to provide an exciting basketball program that offers quality coaching, skill development, and a love of basketball. We aim to provide parents with a low cost and high quality program with full transparency.
